Hark back to simpler times, there is something beautiful about the simplicity of the vehicles of a bygone age.
Take this vintage motorcycle, it has details that wouldn't look out of place on a sports pitch lawnmower.
However, it could be fixed by the roadside (no comment) and that simplicity is one of the endearing attractions - as well as the must have accessory - a slight oil leak from the gearbox...
About this artwork
This was a tricky commission for me, as it was A4 which is rather a small size in which to pack the desired detail. Magnifying glasses at the ready!
My greatest challenge as always, is being satisfied with the amount of detail that I include.
It is not a commercial balance - I paint to create images that I love and my art has to be exactly as intended.
Knowing that I have packed intricate detail that many may likely never spot, but there is comfort in knowing that it is there and contributes to the overall image. It will also keep those with a keen eye occupied and pleasantly surprised for many years to come - be warned that you may need a magnifying glass, as I required one to paint it!

My limited edition prints are of the highest quality and should be considered to be an investment.
There is so much more passion and soul in a painting, which cannot be conveyed in a photograph - and I love photography.
You will forever be rewarded through the ownership of something that provides you with great satisfaction and pleasure each time you see it.
It will certainly be a statement piece and generate conversation and perhaps even envy from visitors and friends alike.
